Tyler is a North Texas local who was originally born and raised in Plano, Texas. He is the last of three children to attend Bishop Lynch High School in East Dallas, where he participated in Football, Powerlifting, and Track.

Tyler went on to attend Texas Tech University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in December, 2019. After receiving his Bachelors, he stayed at Texas Tech to pursue a Dual Master’s Degree in both Business Administration and Architecture with a specification in Urban and Community Design, which he completed in 2021.

From a young age, he has always been passionate about working with his hands to see pieces come together in order to produce a finished product. From working on cars with his dad to giving a helping hand on home projects, he learned early on that he enjoyed playing a role in the development of a solution. This drove him to look into opportunities that would lead him towards the AEC Industry and ultimately deciding to pursue Architecture. Due to his experience, some of Tyler's hobbies include woodworking, welding, and fabrication.

During his undergraduate studies, he participated in the first architectural study abroad program offered in Seville, Spain, where he and his peers spent an entire Spring semester. Throughout his time in Spain, his class traveled to many places within the country including Granada, Madrid, and Barcelona where they learned about the local culture. Tyler took advantage of his time in Europe to visit places outside of Spain including London, Paris, Venice, Dublin, Rome, and Santorini. Through these travels, he had the opportunity to visit places like the Villa Savoye and the Barcelona Pavilion, both of which were buildings he studied while in school. This experience contributed valuable aspects to Tyler's knowledge of design as it taught him the importance of research, understanding an audience, and designing with intent.

Prior to PRDG, some of his experiences include working for a couple different custom home builders while attending school, as well as an internship within a large healthcare firm. He joined the PRDG team as a full time Designer in October of 2022. Tyler works in a production role, where he helps with project development and coordination amongst Project Architects and Project Managers within the firm. Together they progress projects from early phases of Schematic Design all the way through construction administration. One thing that Tyler really enjoys about Senior Living design is the incorporation of different elements of architecture coming together to produce spaces that clients desire and spaces that prioritize and exceed the user's needs.

On his days off, Tyler enjoys playing golf with his brother and spending time with friends and family. You can occasionally find him traveling, most of the time to west Texas to visit his alma mater and his favorite spots in town. Although he's had the opportunity to travel to some beautiful places that were on his bucket list, Tyler would love the opportunity to return to Europe and visit places such as Germany and Switzerland for a dream vacation!
