Atria Mount Pleasant is a vibrant IL, AL, MC community located in Mount Pleasant, SC, a charming suburb of historic Charleston.

Southern, coastal architecture and the slow pace of life were inspiration for the design team. Along the meandering drive to the main building, are Independent Living cottages that overlook a duck pond with a walking path. Deep overhangs, large porches, Bahama shutters, and palette of rich colors and textures help the buildings blend with the adjacent neighborhoods. All residents and visitors enter through the grand, trellised porte cochere. The building is designed so that IL and AL residents share some of the key amenities such as the Wellness Retreat with the gym, indoor pool, and salon, Club Room featuring skeeball and gaming tables, and the Wine Bar. Separate dining venues are provided in acknowledgment of the different levels of care. The blended design of the building reinforces the dignity and respect of all residents no matter where they are in the aging process.
