In his 30-year career Paul Donaldson, AIA, LEED AP, has become known nationally for his high-performance leadership in architectural design, planning and construction of senior living and healthcare communities.
Widely acclaimed as a practice leader, client advocate, programming expert, and team builder, Paul is best known for helping clients collaborate in the visualization of their projects. After more than two decades of experience in senior housing, Paul reinforces client concepts with innovative design, new technologies, premier building standards, and cost-effective efficiencies. Under his leadership, PRDG’s team of more than 25 architects develops highly functional solutions to increasing demands of the senior housing and healthcare markets. Their award-winning communities project warm, residential living with amenities reminiscent of well-planned resorts.
Well known as a speaker and educator in his field, Paul’s work has appeared in international architectural books and publications. He has appeared before audiences at meetings of the American Senior Housing Association, LeadingAge and the Texas Association of Homes, Services for the Aging, and NIC.
Now entering its sixth year, PRDG Senior Living Architecture has completed more than $500 million dollars of senior housing construction in 20 states. In 2018 Paul was selected to participate as a juror in the AIA Design for Aging Review. Paul evaluated some of the industry's most innovative projects in the 14th edition of Design for Aging publication.
